FAQ

Questions and answers

Everything about measuring, designing, paying for and receiving your suit, in one place.

Measurements & Sizing

Three ways to get measured: Custom measurements, Partner tailor, or Use a jacket and trousers that fit you.

How do I take my own measurements at home?

Choose "Custom measurements" when you design your suit and we'll walk you through simple guided steps for your body. You'll enter things like height, weight, the sizes you usually wear, and a few fit preferences, plus three photos if you're 18 or older. We estimate the rest of what we need from there. The whole process takes about 20–25 minutes.

What is the "Partner tailor" option?

Where one is available near you, a local partner tailor takes a full in-person appointment, about 15–20 minutes. They record all your measurements and posture, and take photos with your consent. Partner tailors are independent local businesses, not our employees, and this option is always after you've paid.

What does "Use a jacket and trousers that fit you" mean?

It lets you start from a jacket and/or trousers you already own and like the fit of, by measuring the garment itself, or from the sizes you usually wear (jacket size and length, trouser waist and inseam). You can mix and match piece by piece. We treat these numbers as a starting estimate for you to confirm before your suit is cut.

Do I need someone to help me measure, or can I do it alone?

You can do "Custom measurements" alone at home using our guided steps. If you'd rather be measured in person, look for a "Partner tailor" near you, where available.

Can I get measured before I pay?

Yes. "Custom measurements" and "Use a jacket and trousers that fit you" can both be done before checkout, and your draft is saved on your own device until you check out. A "Partner tailor" appointment always happens after you've paid, and either way you can also choose to measure afterward in your account.

How long does measuring take?

Measuring yourself at home takes about 20–25 minutes. A "Partner tailor" appointment takes about 15–20 minutes.

Can I change my measurements after I've entered them?

Yes, any time up until you finalize your order. Once you finalize, your measurements are locked in and can't be changed.

What if there's no partner tailor near me?

Partner tailors are available only in some areas. If there isn't one near you, you simply measure yourself at home with "Custom measurements" or "Use a jacket and trousers that fit you" instead.

Where can I see or update my measurements?

Sign in to your account. You can review your measurements there and update them any time before you finalize your order.

Design & Customization

What can I customize on my suit?

Everything from the jacket (fit, lapel, buttons, pockets, vents, lining, construction) to the trousers (leg shape, pleats, pockets, waistband, break) and finishing touches like stitching and monogram. Every option is shown as a drawing so you can see what you're picking.

Do I choose my fabric or my style first?

You choose your fabric first, then work through every style detail for the jacket, trousers, and vest if you add one. Recommended choices are marked to help guide you.

Can I change my design after I've started?

Yes. You can still adjust your style details in your account right up until you finalize your order.

Can I add a vest to my suit?

Yes, a matching vest is available as an add-on for $150, turning your two-piece suit into a three-piece.

Can I see what my finished suit will look like before I pay?

Yes, "See it all together" shows your suit in your chosen cloth with your entered measurements on a body picture, before you pay.

Can I save my progress and finish designing later?

Yes. Choose "Email me a link to pick up where I left off" and we'll send a link that restores your design and measurements for 30 days. We only use that email for the one message, and it isn't a sign-up.

Fabrics & Cloth

What fabric tiers do you offer?

Essential and Signature, plus Luxury when it's available. Essential ($500) is Vitale Barberis Canonico's Perennial cloth — Super 110's, 100% merino wool — in plain and patterned weaves. Signature will carry a finer VBC cloth as it becomes available; for now it's shown as coming soon. We only show and price tiers that currently have cloth on sale.

Where does your cloth come from?

Every cloth we offer is woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico, a wool mill in Pratrivero, in Italy's Biella district, weaving since 1663 and still run by the same family, now in its 13th generation. We use their Perennial collection: Super 110's, 100% merino wool. Their wool is certified to the Responsible Wool Standard and the SustainaWOOL Integrity Scheme, covering animal welfare and traceability from farm to fabric.

What does "Super 110's" mean?

It's a measure of how fine the wool fiber is: the higher the number, the finer and softer the yarn. Our Super 110's cloth is a fine, durable everyday wool that holds color well and wears comfortably in most climates.

Who makes my suit?

Our tailors are a family workshop making bespoke suits since 1951, now in its third generation — over 70 years of craftsmanship. Master tailors hand-finish every detail, from the canvas to the buttonholes.

Where is my suit made?

Your suit is imported: our tailors make it in their own workshop abroad, from Italian cloth woven by Vitale Barberis Canonico (100% wool). It's then shipped to you, about 4 weeks after you finalize.

What is "canvas construction," and can I choose it?

It's the inner structure of the jacket front. Half canvas — canvas stitched through the chest and lapel that molds to you over time — is standard on every suit. Full canvas, with canvas through the whole front for the best drape and longest life, is available for $50 more. We no longer offer a fused (bonded) front.

How accurate are the fabric photos on your site?

The cloth pictures are Vitale Barberis Canonico's own swatch photographs, used as placeholders until we photograph our own cloth. The suit photo shown is a real photograph of a suit in that cloth, and style details are our own drawings. No screen shows color exactly.

Can I get a physical fabric swatch before I order?

Yes, ask our support team for a physical swatch before ordering.

What happens if the fabric I want runs out?

If it becomes unavailable before you pay, we'll let you know and won't charge you. If it runs out after you've paid, we'll help you pick a replacement in the same tier.

Will my finished suit look exactly like the cloth photo?

Small variations in finished cloth are normal, since our photos are placeholders rather than exact color references.

Pricing & What's Included

How much does a suit cost?

Essential is $500. It's the only tier with cloth on sale right now, and we price Signature and Luxury once their cloth is. Choosing full canvas construction for the jacket adds $50.

What's included in the price?

Your two-piece suit made to your measurements, getting measured (whether at home or with a partner tailor), and delivery. There's no separate fitting or measurement fee.

How much extra is a vest?

A matching vest adds $150 to your order.

Is there a separate fitting fee?

No. Measurement, whether at home or with a partner tailor, is included in the suit's price.

Can prices change?

Prices on our site can change at any time, but that never affects an order you've already paid for.

Payment & Accounts

How do I pay for my suit?

You pay the full price up front at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Do I need an account to order?

Yes, an account is required to place an order, get measured, finalize, and reach support. If you check out as a guest, we create one for you automatically from your checkout email once payment succeeds.

Can I check out without creating an account first?

Yes. Checkout just asks for your name and email, with the option to sign in if you already have an account. If your email is new to us, we create an account for you automatically, and your confirmation email includes a one-tap link to set a password within 72 hours. If your email already has an account, your order is attached to it, but you'll need to sign in separately.

When is my card charged?

You're charged the full price at checkout, when you place your order.

Is my payment information safe?

Yes. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.

Do I need to be 18 to order?

Yes, you must be at least 18 to create an account and place an order. A gift recipient under 18 claims their gift with a parent or guardian, who creates the account.

Order Changes & Finalizing

Can I change my order after placing it?

You can adjust your design, fabric, and measurements in your account any time before you finalize. Once you finalize, those details are locked in and can no longer be changed.

What happens when I finalize my order?

Finalizing locks in your design, fabric, and measurements before your suit is cut. Review everything carefully first, since it can't be changed afterward.

Can I cancel my order before finalizing?

Because every suit is cut for you, there are no refunds once you confirm your order at checkout, even before you finalize. What you can still do is change your design and measurements, right up until you finalize, so nothing is made until it's how you want it. If we can't ship within the promised time, we'll tell you, and you can accept the new date or cancel for a full refund.

How do I check my order status?

Sign in to your account to see where your order stands.

How do you make sure my tailor gets all my details right?

Once you finalize, we put together an order sheet with your order number, cloth, every style choice, all your measurements, and your delivery address for the team making your suit.

Shipping & Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Typically about 4 weeks (28 days) after you finalize your order.

Is my delivery date guaranteed?

No, it's an estimate rather than a guarantee. Shipping delays, fabric shortages, and other events outside our control can affect timing.

I have a wedding or event coming up — what should I do?

Get measured and finalize your order as early as you can, since delivery timing only starts counting once you finalize.

Where do you ship?

We haven't published our shipping area yet. Email us at noidal1000@gmail.com and we'll confirm whether we can ship to you.

What if my package doesn't arrive?

Once your order is marked delivered to the address on file, contact support right away if you can't find it.

Fit, Alterations & Returns

What if my suit doesn't fit?

Contact support and we'll look at your case. Whether we arrange an adjustment, whether we put anything toward the cost, and how much, is decided case by case and agreed with you before any work starts. Nothing here is automatic, and we don't promise an amount.

Do you guarantee a perfect fit?

No. We don't guarantee a perfect fit, and we don't offer a fit scheme of any kind. A made-to-measure suit is cut from the numbers you give us, and no review can promise a perfect result.

Can I return my order?

No. All orders are final once paid, including an order abandoned before finalizing. If we can't ship within the promised time, we'll tell you, and you can accept the new date or cancel for a full refund.

Will you cover the cost of alterations?

That's decided case by case and agreed with you before any work starts. We don't promise an amount, and nothing here is automatic.

My order arrived damaged, or wasn't made to my order — what do I do?

Contact support with photos as soon as possible. If it wasn't made to your approved design or measurements, or was damaged in transit, we'll look at fixing or remaking it at our discretion.

What isn't covered by support after delivery?

Changes to your body after you finalized, style choices made as you ordered them, normal wear and cleaning, and alterations done by anyone other than a tailor we arrange.

Gifts

How do gift suits work?

You pay the full price at checkout and choose a fabric and starting design, then add the recipient's name and a personal message. We email them a gift code, or you can print a gift card yourself.

What does the recipient pay?

Nothing. Claiming a gift costs the recipient no fee, no card entry, and no subscription.

Can the recipient change the fabric or style?

They pick their final style details within the same price tier you bought, and can switch to a different fabric in that tier if one is available. They can't move to a different price tier.

Is there a deadline for the recipient to claim their gift?

No deadline, but delivery timing only starts once they finalize their order, so claiming early is a good idea if there's a date to meet.

Can I see the recipient's measurements as the buyer?

No, we never share the recipient's measurements or photos with you. You can follow progress, such as whether it's been claimed or shipped, and you'll always have the gift code.

Can a gift code be exchanged for cash?

No. Gift orders follow the same policies as any order, and gift codes can't be exchanged for cash.

Can someone under 18 claim a gift?

Yes. A recipient under 18 claims with a parent or guardian, who creates the account. No photos are taken of anyone under 18.

Privacy, Photos & Support

Are photos required when I get measured?

No, photos are optional and only for adults 18 and older. If you take them, they're cropped on your own device before upload and re-encoded to remove location data, and we ask for your consent first.

Who can see my photos?

Only our internal team, plus a partner tailor for photos they personally took. Photos are never shown to the people making your suit, never sent by email, and never shown to a gift buyer.

How long do you keep my photos?

They're deleted automatically once they're no longer needed, and sooner if you ask. Photos from a cancelled order are deleted 30 days after cancellation.

Do you sell my data?

No, we never sell your data. We share only what's needed with partner tailors, the people making your suit, our payment processor, and our hosting and email providers.

How do I contact customer service?

Sign in to your account and open "Support" to start a request tied to your order.

How fast will I hear back from support?

Usually within 1 business day. For a fit-related question, within 1–2 business days.

Do you have physical showrooms?

We don't run our own showrooms. In some areas, a local partner tailor near you can measure you in person instead.

Still have a question?

Our team usually replies within 1 business day.
